Battery and cell phone recycling
Battery and cell phone recycling is available at the transfer station. Bring the batteries and cell phones in a plastic bag and give them to the attendant – don’t put them in the trash or recycling bins. Attached is a detailed flier from the Franklin County Solid Waste Management District about the various kinds of batteries, their dangers, and how they can be disposed of.
